How I Learned To Drive

Narrated through a series of bittersweet flashbacks, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE is an honest, coming-of-age account on forgiveness, healing and growth – and how one can find light even from the unhealthiest of relationships.

HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE was first produced in 1997 in New York City and has since been awarded, in addition to the Pulitzer: the Obie, the Drama Desk Award, the New York Drama Critics Award, the Outer Circle Critics Award, and the Lucille Lortel Award.

Mother's Day :)

Like every Mother's day, my brothers and sister will buy mom a dinner. This year is no exception. Only that we couldn't make up our mind where to eat. =/

We usually celebrate Mother's day one day before the actual day to avoid the crowd. Sis ask me to suggest a place and I simply mutter out TGI Friday since mom keep saying how delicious their food is after visiting that place with her friends few weeks back. We planned to leave the house 6pm sharp and my bro left with his gf and my cousin(dont ask me why is she joining us.My mom invited her over) to TGI Friday at The Curve but dad wanted me to teach him how to use the iPhone he brought and we didnt leave the house until 7pm.

While on the way to The Curve, my bro called and said TGI the curve is full. So we changed the venue to TGI One Utama instead. After reaching TGI One Utama, we got our table but since we have 11 people and we didnt make any bookings before hand, we were seated at 2 different tables. O.o

My bro suggest that its not that good to sit seperately since our main purpose it to dine together, we change to another restaurant instead. Where? We tried One Shabu Shabu. Its a steamboat restaurant and we're given a private pot each so we dont need to share saliva. XD

Itadakimasu~

The food is quite nice, services is superb, price is erm... I'll say worth it and affordable. How much is it? Rm 336 for 11pax.

*Burps*

After dinner, my sis complain she wasn't full and she went to buy Big Apple Donuts for supper. Hehe.. thats all for my Mother's day. :)

Happy marriage or not?

I take marriage as something serious(well, who doesn't? XD ). Its about living with your beloved one for the rest of your entire life. So, finding a suitable partner who you think you can spend the rest of your life is not easy. And for her to think you're the one who she can spend the rest of her life ain't easy too. Actually I wanted to tell you people how I see marriage as and bla bla bla.. but forget it. Haha.. Who actually cared? :P

So, heres a good laugh for you people who need to work on Wesak Day! I actually received this joke from Carmen and I'm going to share with you all! Here it goes...

Once upon a time a married couple celebrated their 25th marriage anniversary. They have become famous in the city for not having a single conflict in their 25 years of marriage. Local newspaper editors had gathered at the occasion to find out the secret of their well known 'happy marriage'.

Editor: 'Sir. It's amazingly unbelievable. How did you make this possible?'

Husband recalling his old honeymoon days said: After marriage we went to Shimla for our honeymoon. One day, we decided to go horse riding and selected the horses. My horse was pretty okay but the horse my wife was riding seemed to be a crazy. After riding sometime, that horse jumped suddenly, making my wife topple over. Recovering her position from the ground, she patted the horse's back and said 'This is your first time'. She climbed onto the horse and continued with the ride. After a while, it happened again. This time she again kept calm and said 'This is your second time' and continued. When the horse dropped her the third time, she silently took out the revolver from the purse and shot the horse dead!

I shouted at my wife: ' You psycho, what did you do that for!? You killed the poor animal. Are you crazy?'.

She gave a silent look and said: 'This is your first time!!!'.

Husband: 'That's it. We are happy ever after.'

Where is the LOVE?

Reading news about the SiChuan Quake really upset me. The "Golden 72 hours" to save those survivors has passed and their survival chances is dropping every seconds. Now, (according to experts from some country), those buried under collapsed buildings have 5 more days to get rescued without water and food. Today is the 8th day which is also the last day.

I always wanted to do something for them but I couldn't. Not financially nor volunteer myself to go there and rescue them. I can only pray for them sincerely in my heart. It's a tragic for the peoples there. They did nothing to deserve such awful disaster.

May those survivors be strong. May those injured recover as soon as possible. May those still waiting for people to rescue stay strong. Help will reach to you soon.

Those who wish to donate money to help, you can do so here. -> How to Donate

Thank You!

Who you?

I received a mail few days ago and that guy( I assume its a guy) showed me some pictures. Its not nude lady picture but Coke. For you to know, I started collecting coke since last year. He showed me some Coke from China with the 5 Olympic mascot on it. DAMM IT!!!! I dont have it in my collection yet!

He is not selling it to me but he asked me to add him on MSN and play a game with him. =/ I added him but yet to start the game with him yet. Till now.. Let him hold the cokes as hostage first. Dun worry "cokie", I'll save you from him soon.. with the Hello Kitties I hope :)

Since the coke's from China, I guess its my friend who is playing a joke on me. But dun care lar... I'll still get it from him. Hehehe..

Show you all my collection next time =D

Down in the ocean of whatever... =/

Dont bother the title.. that is what came across my mind all of sudden. I have no mood to do anything at all yet I need to accomplish them. =/ Semester Final is next month and I still have so many assignments to finish up, friends who needs my help (I need more from you guys k!), parents which never stop asking me to do this and that(like I can say NO?) and bla bla bla...

For months, I never sleep without planning what to do the next morning. I know everyone does that but thinking about it for hours on the bed? Seriously sucks lor...moreover, I'm a person who cannot handle stress. Now, fucking stop giving me pressure already!!!

I couldn't remember when is the last time I had a good laugh (Ok lar, it was yesterday when I was watching MY WIFE IS A GAMBLING MAESTRO ) but sigh... ahh..forget it. Its hard to explain. =/ I hate explaining things.

Such a long time since I've written a post based on personal feelings. Usually its just some random photos posting or events I attended. Sad to say, this blog is so....not my style. :(

Ok, enough of ranting. I'll go do something productive but lifeless like assignments. X(

*I'm going to do something really childish now. That is to switch off my phone for the rest of the day until tomorrow morning*

Dont ASK!

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC. ALWAYS REMEMBER NEVER ASK A QUESTION UNLESS YOU KNOW THE ANSWER

When Grandma Goes To Court, Lawyers should never ask a Mississippi grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer.

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.

The lawyer was stunned.

Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?

She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.

'The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, 'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair.'

Chill lar... A joke a day keep u coming here everyday.. hehe.

Taman Pertanian Malaysia-Another Sunday plan. :)

At first, our plan consists of 6 and more ppl but in the end, only 3 guys including me turned up. We were quite reluctant to go because we hanged out till quite late the day before. But due to my enthutiasm, I forced myself to wake up to execute our initial plan. Had a light breakfast and there we go to start our healthy plan.

Oh, what plan huh?? We're cycling around Taman Pertanian Malaysia at Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam. We paid Rm3 per person for the entrance fees and head to bicycle rental shop to rent a bike to tour around the big taman.

Advice: choose a comfortable bike as u'll be riding it for few hours. U won't want to feel pain in the ass rather than enjoying it.

My 2 buddy :)

Things went according to plan at first. We reach there safely, rent a bike, take some pictures and chit chat while cycling but thanx to certain people who is keen to "explore new places", we took a wrong route and end up pushing the bike instead of riding it. Many times, we suggest to stop moving forward and turn back but the leader insisted to go futher. =/

Too steep to ride up.. Need to push it instead. Somehow it reminds me of the Father and son who wants to sell a donkey story. =/

And we dumped the bike aside to take a rest and chit chat again for uncountable times.

Luckily, we saw a patrol car and asked for direction. We were heading to a dead end according to them. So wtf I know.. :(

After we're back on track, things changed. Its so fun to cycle around the place. The weather, the fresh air and animals we saw along the way made the day perfect for us. Believe it or not, they have a real Paddy field there too. This is the first time in my life to see a real paddy field with growing paddy on it. Well, at least its special to me the city kid. =/ You'll be amazed how nice is that place.

One of the many lake there. Can have picnic here also. :)

There is a four season house there too. It was Spring at that time and inside the season house, we can see growing plants under controlled temperature of 7-12 degree celcius.

After enjoying the aircond admiring the flowers inside, we continue exploring the place. Next destination is the observation tower. From the name itself, we can sense its a very tall tower.

View from ontop of the tower.

Too bad I didnt take any picture of the whole tower from because once I reach the top of the tower, the scenary took all the attention of mine. We sat there for merely 1 hour and 30mins and chat. We talked about almost everything. Three guys, one tower and 90 mins of talk = priceless.

So great to lie down there and enjoy the view.

Love fluffy clouds <3

Time passes very fast and the clock was showing 2.30pm. We climbed down the tower and cycled back to return the bicycles. Since its still early, we boarded the mini sightseing bus. The bus took us around the taman in the 15mins ride.

After that, we drove to Tropicana to meet up with a friend and head off to Aman Suria to eat Roti Tisu. :P Aint ordinary roti tissue. Its roti tissue from Kayu Kandar shop. I bet someone at New Zealand is wiping off his saliva now. Hehehe..

Hehe..thats all about another Sunday of mine. I'll definitely return to the taman next time. So, who wanna join me? :D
